I have been thinking about the other 'mes'. I often imagine them as consequence of the several choices I have made in my life. Is the doctor me as disillusioned because she just didn't pursue the American dream of doing engineering and making money? Is the artsy me broke and facing a writer's block? Is the married me wondering what it would have been like if she hadn't and had some more fun, checked out a few more guys. Is the one staying out of home just missing home? There are several of them. Its an interesting exercise to do. Helps me check out the grass on the other side, feel it and see for myself if its any better, through my head.
